Cobalt
Every time you take damage you have a chance of dropping a battery on the ground. Once the battery activates you can pick it up for a small shield. After collecting 3 batteries you will overload, gaining movement speed and damage!

Whenever Cobalt gets damaged by enemies, there is a 50% chance a battery drops, which Cobalt can pick up to gain 12 shield hp. Picking up 3 batteries causes the player to overload, increasing their movement speed by 20% and reflecting 25% of taken melee damage for 8 seconds. During an overload, they are unable to pick up additional batteries. Batteries present on the map will despawn after 30 seconds. While overloaded, Cobalt's batteries will turn red, and if the kit skin is turned on, it will turn red too. Every 2 seconds, Cobalt and his batteries flash white.

Trivia
- Cobalt's name is likely due to the dark cobalt color of the kit.
- Cobalt is the first kit that modifies the player's appearance when the kit skin is turned off; the second being Whim and the third being Krystal.
- Cobalt will still generate batteries from tesla coils traps that do not deal damage.
- Cobalt's render pose is identical to that of Yeti and Zenith.
- In real life, cobalt is used to make batteries, which makes sense since Cobalt’s whole premise is that he collects batteries.
