How Kit Fusion works

  1. 1 Join the mode Talk to the Kit Fusion NPC, or pick it from the Play button.
  2. 2 Pick two kits A 30-second window in a squads lobby to choose both.
  3. 3 Play with both You use both kits' own items and abilities for the whole match.

Not every pairing works. The wiki records fusions that fail outright — conflicting kit abilities, a kit's individual item being lost when you die, and items applied by another kit's passive misfunctioning. Worth testing an unusual pairing in a casual match before you take it into ranked.

The fusions that got nerfed

Three pairings dominated Kit Fusion hard enough that the wiki records players calling the mode unplayable because of them. All three were nerfed on March 6, 2026 — so read these as the history of the mode's balance, not as a shopping list. They are the clearest signal we have of which ability types stack dangerously.

Interactions on the record

Fusion stacks systems that were never designed to meet, and the wiki logs the results. These are documented interactions rather than recommendations — several are outright bugs, and a bug that is written down is usually a bug that has since been fixed.

These come out of BedWars tier-list videos, where a creator stops to say which kit they would pair a kit with. Each one is a single creator's opinion, quoted in their own words with a link to the exact second — not a verdict of ours, and not tested by us.

Kits singled out for Fusion

Creators sometimes flag a kit as strong specifically in Kit Fusion without naming what to pair it with. That is worth knowing on its own — but it is not a combo, so we are not going to dress it up as one.

Why this list is short

Kit Fusion is combinatorial — two kits from a roster of 115 is thousands of pairings, and almost none of them have been written about by anyone. We could fill this page by guessing which abilities sound good together. We would rather ship 8 pairings you can verify than 200 we made up. If you find a fusion worth adding, it goes on here with a source next to it.

Two more pairings were cut during research: kit names in the auto-generated captions that match no kit in the game, so there was no honest way to attribute them.
